Positive: Location: most of the reception staff were very helpful, especially on the first evening. Welcome drink.
Negative: No AC. One night, even ventilation was off, but the staff at the reception said that it was not the case. Closure of the door of the room next to ours always cased pretty obvious vibration of the walls. High prices in the lobby bar.
Summary: Central location with some comfort issues. Better not to choose for the stay in hot summer days!

Positive: Quirky hotel with great spaces to relax. Lovely breakfast with an option for breakfast to go. Good sized room.
Negative: Unexpexcted billing process. They held the total amount for the room at check in and then held the same total amount when we checked out. So for 24 hours they had double the total amount held before they processed payment. Never experienced this process before.
Rooms were a bit to dark for my liking, would have like more general room lighting.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, nice size room, comfortable bed, well located.
Negative:
Our room was noisy as regards outside, late night noise Fri and sat from music and shouting, woken 6am monday
From construction outside, we were given a discount on departure but felt there were aware of issues and given the high cost of rooms this should not have happened.

Great location near the train station, easy check-in, constantly-clean space after each day.
Negative:
This is probably outside the hotel’s control but there was a high-pitched noise coming from the circuit box (?) next to the door, which was somewhat distracting at night.
